State Senator Jarrett Coleman’s Warning Regarding SCAM Text Messages
Scammers are targeting Pennsylvanians with fake text messages claiming to be from PennDOT or the “Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Motor Vehicles (DMV)” about unpaid traffic tickets. These messages are a SCAM.
PennDOT does not send texts about violations or fines. If you receive one of these messages, do not respond.
