MACUNGIE — Sen. Jarrett Coleman (R-16) and Rep. Gary Day (R-187) will partner with the Lehigh County Sheriff’s Office, the Pennsylvania State Police and Lower Macungie Township to host a FREE hard-to-read license plate event on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the Lower Macungie Community Center, 3450 Brookside Drive, Macungie.
“Assisting with PennDOT issues is one of the most utilized services that my office provides,” Coleman said. “I am pleased to partner with Rep. Gary Day to offer this license plate replacement event to help streamline the process for my constituents.”
“Vehicle owners can have their peeling, fading or unreadable plates inspected on-site and get immediate help filing the paperwork for a free replacement,” said Day. “Replacing damaged plates ensures law enforcement can identify vehicles while saving drivers from costly fines and inspection failures.”
Those interested in attending can sign up for the event here.
Questions about the event or registration can be directed to Coleman’s office at 484-861-4964 or Day’s office at 610-965-9933.
