HARRISBURG – Sen. Jarrett Coleman (R-16) announced the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) has approved $21.3 million in financial assistance for two drinking water enhancement projects in Bucks and Lehigh counties.
“Clean drinking water is an essential part of healthy communities,” Coleman said. “These projects are critical. I’m proud to support them and happy that they received the financial assistance they needed.”
Lehigh County
The Lehigh County Authority was approved for an $8.1 million loan and $7.2 million grant to replace lead service lines on the public and private side of approximately 1,000 services in Allentown. The funds cover the entire $15.4 million project cost.
Bucks County
